I am a second-generation jeweler. I started making jewelry at the age of 12.
In 1979 I won honors and a gold medal for 3-d design through the National Scholastic Art Program. I continued my studies at Gem City College in Quincy Illinois where I learned advanced custom design skills in drawing and sketching as well as intricate diamond setting techniques, hand engraving and gun engraving.
I relocated to Daytona Beach in 1985 and quickly became introduced and worked on a wholesale level with many of the jewelers in our area.
In 1988 I opened Amy's Custom Jewelry in the Daytona Flea Market continuing a lifelong journey of design, creation and repair of platinum, gold, and silver jewelry.
